XP for Killing
warning: extremely serious worldbuilding ahead
- from The Liturgy of Experion
It is believed that after your death, your Experite, often shortened as XP, will be molten down and cast into the weapon you wield in the afterlife. The weapon will be weighed. The heavier the weapon, the higher your "Level" (an archaic unit of weight).
Redrum Oboh, Saint of Experion
Long ago, Redrum journeyed through a distant land, inhabited by two kinds of beings. He cut down the grainfolk, half of their bodies nourishing him, half falling back into the soil to grow into the new generation. Whenever this slaughter dulled his blade, he felled one of the rockfolk, and the edge was made as new. At the end of the journey he had amassed so much Experite blabla this is why farming and grinding are a sacred practice and this is by far the stupidest part of this post
ideas I had before I lost interest in this
- Magic: more Experite -> more powerful magic
- forging Experite into magic items
